Who publishes this
Michael Starlane is the working name of Michael Latulippe of Celebration, Florida. Everything on this site is written and published by him as an independent researcher. Nothing here is sponsored and nothing is paid placement.
The site is operated by Park Maxing, Inc., the company described below. I write and publish everything here myself, and nothing I own gets a look at a report before it goes out.
I take no affiliate revenue on this site, I sell no advertising, and I do not run sponsored content. Nobody I measure pays me anything. The reports are free and the data is free, and the only thing I ask a reader for is an email address.
My businesses
I am the president of Park Maxing, Inc., a Florida corporation. Park Maxing does business as Sleep Around Points, a marketplace where DVC owners rent their points to other members, and as Popdot AI, my AI native platform. It is all one group, and the registrations are public records retrieved directly from the Florida Division of Corporations.

Park Maxing, Inc. is also a licensed travel agency in the State of Florida, Seller of Travel registration ST45980. The license is active, but we are not currently engaged in any travel agency operations. Should that change, this page and any related content will be updated first.
How the reports treat them
Sleep Around Points is an independent peer-to-peer marketplace, not a broker, and Starlane Reports measure it alongside the brokers. It receives the same treatment as every one of them. The same tables, the same public records, the same confidence tiers.
If its numbers look worse than a competitor's on some measure, they publish anyway.
No broker pays to appear in a report, and report pages carry no signup or sales links for my businesses.
How my company scores in my own report
Sleep Around Points is one of five DVC rental brokers measured in The Going Rate, my quarterly report on the DVC point rental market. In the Q3 2026 edition, Sleep Around Points scored 56 out of 100 on transparency. That ranks third of five, behind DVC Shop at 100 and David's Vacation Club Rentals at 72. Sleep Around Points charges owners 4 percent and renters 7 percent, which comes to 10.3 percent of what the renter pays. That was the lowest broker cut measured in Q3 2026. I publish these numbers so you hear them from me first. The report shows the work behind every one.
